The Indian Air Force invites online applications from unmarried Indian male and female candidates for the selection test for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2025 under the Agnipath Scheme.

Online Registration Dates:

• Start Date: July 8, 2024
• End Date: July 28, 2024

Online Exam Dates:

• Start Date: October 18, 2024

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age:
   • Candidates born between July 3, 2004, and January 3, 2008 (both dates inclusive).
   • Upper age limit should be 21 years as of the date of enrolment.
2. Marital Status and Pregnancy:
   • Only unmarried candidates are eligible.
   • Female candidates must not get pregnant during the engagement period.
3. Educational Qualification:
   • Science Subjects:
     • Passed Intermediate/10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
     • OR Three years Diploma Course in Engineering with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
     • OR Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects (Physics and Mathematics) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
   • Other than Science Subjects:
     • Passed Intermediate/10+2 in any stream/subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
     • OR Two years Vocational Course with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
4. Mandatory Medical Standards:
   • Height: Minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cms for males and 152 cms for females (relaxations applicable).
   • Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
   • Chest: Minimum chest circumference should be 77 cms with a minimum expansion of 05 cms.
   • Hearing: Normal hearing.
   • Dental: Healthy gums, good set of teeth, and minimum 14 dental points.
   • Visual Standards: Visual acuity must be 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye.
   • General Health: Must conform to IAF medical standards.

Selection Process:

1. Online Test (Phase I):
   • Science Subjects: 60 minutes (Physics, Mathematics, and English).
   • Other than Science Subjects: 45 minutes (English and Reasoning & General Awareness).
   • Combined Test: 85 minutes (Physics, Mathematics, English, Reasoning & General Awareness).
   • Marking pattern: One mark for every correct answer, 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
2. Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
   • Male: 1.6 km run in 07 minutes, 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups, 20 squats.
   • Female: 1.6 km run in 08 minutes, 10 sit-ups, 15 squats.
3. Adaptability Test II and Medical Examination:
   • Conducted for candidates who qualify in PFT.

Terms and Conditions:

• Engagement Period: 4 years.
• Pay, Allowances, and Allied Benefits:
  • Starting package of Rs. 30,000/- per month with fixed yearly increment.
  • Risk and Hardship allowances, Dress and Travel allowances, ration, clothing, accommodation, and LTC.
• Seva Nidhi Package: One-time package of approximately Rs. 10.04 lakhs after 4 years.
• Insurance: Non-contributory Life Insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakhs.

• Documents Required: Class 10th/Matriculation passing certificate, Intermediate/10+2 or equivalent marks sheet, recent passport-size photograph, left-hand thumb impression, and signature image.
